NCNS - Ep 103 “2013 Year in Review”

HEY GUYS we are back! It's the 2013 DC Bar scene (and beyond) review and much like we did last year for episode 69 a bunch of previous guests showed up! Included on this rowdy roundtable discussion live from the soon to open Lost & Found bar in Shaw, are beer-makers Dave of 3 Stars Brewing Company and Will and Justin from Atlas Brew Works, bar owners Curt of the soon to open Roofer's Union, John of the soon to open Brookland's Finest, and Brian and Hilarey of the soon to open Lost & Found, bloggers/writers Dan of Popville, Bill of DC Beer, John from DCist and Julian from Complex. Much like last year it's a bit long in the tooth, but bear with us, it's worth it.

On a final note, with Daniel moving away from the District at the end of this month, Episode 103 will likely be the last No Call No Show Podcast for the foreseeable future. Thank you to all of our guests and we especially want to thank all of our listeners for sticking with us over the last 3 years especially those of you we've met and hope to meet in the future, your support and feedback has been awesome.  It was a blast while it lasted and if and when the next big thing comes along you will all be the first to know.  Just remember, as always, unless they agree with you the customer is always wrong.

NCNS - Ep 102 “Bourbon Barrel Quad”

Attention loyal listeners! This is the last No Call No Show Podcast for a little while.  Daniel and Michael are taking a little sabbatical as both of their lives have gotten a little bit busier and other things are bubbling up, so we will be taking a small break for the near future but hope to at the very least come back for a huge year end round up with all of your favorite past guests.  In the meantime the two of us sit down over a delicious and boozy bottle of Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad, part of their Smokestack Series, to discuss the brewery's recent acquisition by Duvel, and share the usual bar stories from the weekend.  While we promise this isn't the end, we still want to say thanks again to all of you guys for indulging us in this small vanity project, we couldn't have done it without you!

Michael forgot to mention on air that you can come get a beer from him at Nanny O'Brien's on Wednesdays and Thursdays and Solly's U St Tavern on Sundays and Mondays/ And finally, we pay tribute to the sadly, late Lou Reed.
